Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account & contact: your email and any contact details you or your league members provide for delivery.
• League data: read-only data from your connected platform (Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo, CBS, or MyFantasyLeague): league settings, rosters, matchups, scores, and transactions.
• Platform sign-in: to read a private league we use the access token or session your platform issues. For ESPN, CBS, and private MyFantasyLeague leagues this is a one-time sign-in; your password is sent straight to that platform to obtain the token and is never stored or logged by us. Tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to fetch your league.
• Your inputs: the league bible: nicknames, locations, inside jokes, and lore you choose to add.
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation and metadata, not your full card number.
• Usage: basic analytics about how the Service is used, to improve it.

How we use it

We use your data to generate and deliver your episodes, operate billing, provide support, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data with vendors who help run the Service, including:

• Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
• Anthropic: script generation (Claude).
• ElevenLabs: voice synthesis.
• Replicate: music and image generation.
• Sleeper / ESPN / Yahoo / CBS / MyFantasyLeague: read-only league data.
• Resend: email delivery.
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram): advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, so we can see which ads lead to sign-ups.
• PostHog and Microsoft Clarity: product analytics and session insights to understand and improve how the Service is used.
• Hosting and database providers (Vercel, Neon) to operate the Service.

Some platforms limit how long their data may be retained; where required, we fetch league scores and rosters at generation time rather than storing them long-term.

Retention & your choices

We keep your account, the league bible you write, and generated episodes while your subscription is active and for up to 90 days after it ends, after which we delete or anonymize them. League member contact details you add are used only to deliver episodes and are removed when you delete the league or on request. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Email privacy@hotmicffl.comand we’ll action it promptly. You can cancel and disconnect a league at any time.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Service, measure our advertising, and understand usage:

• Vercel Analytics and PostHog: aggregate product analytics (page views, referrers, device type, and in-app actions) to improve the Service.
• Microsoft Clarity: session insights (such as clicks and scrolls) that help us find and fix friction.
• Meta Pixel & Conversions API: advertising measurement. If you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad, these use cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and may share hashed event data with Meta so we can measure and optimize our ads. This is advertising technology.

We do not sell your personal information. You can limit this tracking through your browser and device controls (blocking or clearing cookies, and enabling “Do Not Track”/“Limit Ad Tracking”), and you can manage ad personalization in your Facebook/Instagram settings. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact privacy@hotmicffl.com.

Accessibility

We aim to make Hot Mic usable for everyone and follow recognized accessibility practices (WCAG 2.1 AA as a target). If you encounter a barrier, email privacy@hotmicffl.comand we’ll work to fix it.

Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.
